Event Supplier, Aztec Event Services has announced that it has just secured the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001 certificate. The company has spent the last 18 months working towards its first ISO which involved having its working practices independently audited by AJA Registrars Ltd.
ISO9001 is an internationally recognised standard which establishes processes to ensure quality and consistency of product / service as well as continuous improvement. In gaining ISO 9001 Aztec has provided evidence that client’s requirements are being fully understood and proper proposals created that are technically accurate and functional. Useable metrics are also acquired to analyse performance and identify areas for improvement.
Although these structures and standards have always been at the heart of Aztec’s own service offering, the official and independent ISO certification allows Aztec to quickly assess if they have the capacity and capability to take on and successfully deliver any tender. The identifiable ISO logo will allow new clients to immediately recognise Aztec as a trusted and professional company.
Steve Colesell, Aztec’s Operations Director, talked with pride about the company’s achievement “Aztec already has a strong reputation as a trusted supplier that goes the extra mile. This certification is proof to new clients as well as existing ones that you have chosen the best when you choose Aztec. We have the experts in place but also the infrastructure and process management to deliver what we promise.”
Having gained ISO9001 certification, the company will now turn its attention to IS14001 certification, which it intends to achieve by autumn 2015, and OSHAS18001 during spring 2016.
